My Mazda MX-6 Pictures Gallery
Let me briefly take you through the history of my 1997 Mazda MX-6 LS from the day that I bought it till today. Hope you enjoy seeing the development of my car since I bought it.My car when I bought it in Feb 02, 2003. A mint 1997 timberline gray LS with only 93k (53k miles) on the odometer.
Later that summer, I added some tints and fixed the brake pad rattling with wires from a PC power supply. Also added a garage around the car as I moved into a new home so that my baby would be sheltered.
Bought some used slippers for it for a $1000. Bought it from a dude 4 hours away and my buddy picked them up and brought them to me.
My Mazda friend decided to do the 3-step Meguiar's clean, polish, and wax job on a hot weekend. It took us about 4 hours, but damn did the cars look hot. Mazda represent!
We then decided to do a care meet with all the KLDE (aka KL-03) folks in a neighboring suburb. I was the only Mazda representing though. Brad, Justin, and Troy's black Ford Probe GT represented the majority.

Time for some power. So in goes the PRM cold air intake (CAI), which was later replaced with this Hotshot-style cold air intake.

How about some short throw shifters for an extra 0.0000001 seconds of better shift time. Of course, nevermind that it is bad for your synchros.

Now to add a 6th gear to my car because more gears means better speed. We all took physics right? Good, so here's my new Mazda RX-8 shifter knob. Not sure if the new knob gave me rotary power though. Here is a comparison of the stock knob with the RX-8 one.

Finally the money shot for appearance mods. It got lowered with Tokico HPS shocks (Tokico Blues) and Eibach Pro springs that gave me a 1.5" drop all around. My camber though is way way out to lunch. Oh well, she handles nicely and I'm not burning through rubber due to the camber. Great for autocrossing though.
